Delete account and data — Rival Score
Rival Score works without an account. If you signed in with Apple, Google or email (sign-in link), you can delete the account and all data linked to it at any time, free of charge.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Rival Score and tap More.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The account, the profile (first name, last name, email, mobile number and news choices), synced favorites, preferences and alert subscriptions are erased right away. If you use the app without an account, More › Clear app data erases the data on the device and on our servers.
Without the app
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot open it, email privacidade@rivalscore.net with the subject "Delete account" and include:
- the email you signed in with: your Apple or Google account email, or the email where you received the sign-in link; or
- if you used the app without an account, the code shown at the bottom of the More screen ("Your ID").
We may ask you to confirm the account is yours before deleting it.
What is deleted and what is kept
- Deleted: the account, the email and name from Apple or Google (or the email used for link sign-in), the profile (first name, last name, email, mobile number and choices for news by email and WhatsApp), the anonymous identifier, favorites, preferences, alert subscriptions and campaign measurement identifiers.
- Meta, TikTok and Google: if you allowed campaign measurement, data already sent to these companies is governed by their policies. We pass the deletion request on to them, and you can also use each company's privacy tools (section 3.5 of the Privacy Policy).
- Timeframe: within 30 days of the request; backups are overwritten within 7 days. If you do not open the app for 12 months, the account and the profile are erased automatically.
- Just want to stop receiving news? You do not need to delete the account: turn it off in More › Edit profile, use the unsubscribe link in the message or write to privacidade@rivalscore.net.
- Kept for the legal period: access logs (IP, date and time), for 6 months, as required by Brazilian law (Marco Civil da Internet, Law 12.965/2014, art. 15). Aggregated usage statistics that do not identify you may be kept.
